The Hellenic Challengers Circuit (HCC) is the second tier of the official Greek ERL (Hellenic Legends League – HLL).
Eight teams will compete in a round-robin league from April 11 to May 5, 2025, vying for a chance to advance to the HLL, the top tier, as well as a prize of €1,500.
The qualifier on April 5-6 will determine which team secures the 8th spot in the HCC!
This specific tournament serves as the Qualifier that will grant one spot in the Hellenic Challengers Circuit Spring (HCC).
Format: 5v5, EUNE, Summoner’s Rift, Tournament Draft.
Single Elimination, Best of 3, except for the final which will be Bo5 (subject to change depending on the number of participants).
- It is the team’s responsibility to follow the instructions correctly and play their matches on time.
- Teams must strictly consist of at least 3 players who are residents of Greece/Cyprus.
- Each team may register multiple substitutes. Teams should be aware that they may be asked at any time to join the tournament’s Discord server and must be prepared to do so immediately if required for any checks by the organizers.
- Side Selection: The team listed at the top of the bracket gets the blue side.
- For the 2nd and potential 3rd game of each series, side selection goes to the team that lost the previous game.
- Placeholders are NOT allowed in the pick process unless the opposing team is notified in advance, agrees, and this can be confirmed by an admin.
We recommend using Pro Draft; teams must take screenshots of the final draft in such cases. - The average time between rounds is estimated at 1 hour. The tournament will last up to 8 hours total (depending on the number of participants).
- Players are prohibited from causing toxic incidents. If such an incident occurs, it is entirely up to the admins to resolve it, and teams must respect their decision.
- If a player/team wishes to stream their matches in the tournament, they must prominently display the tournament’s logo. They are also responsible for ensuring the broadcasted game has a 3-minute delay via the Riot Client’s Observer system.
- Each team has half of the total match pause time available to them. Pauses can only be used for significant issues and must not be spammed (i.e., no frequent short pauses during the game).
- In cases of lag, power outages, or any other technical difficulties on the players’ side, the organizers will not provide more than the designated pause time. If the issue isn’t resolved, the match must either continue or result in a forfeit.
- If an issue arises that requires immediate resolution, do not hesitate to contact the admins on the Discord server.
